Rock 101 / Rock Band Camp Instructors

We are presently accepting applications for Rock Band instructors for our new location at Ardmore West (Ardmore, PA), beginning September 2006.

Directed by Brian Bricklin, Music Training Center's School of Rock provides musicians and singers ages 10-15 with the opportunity to perform in a Rock band all year long.  Performances are held both at Music Training Center's facilities, as well as public venues such as Grape Street Philadelphia and World Cafe' Live.

Details of the Rock Band instructor position are as follows:

Employment Details:

• Available Hours:  Thursdays 4 PM - 8:30 PM, Saturdays and Sundays 1 PM - 6 PM (you may apply for some or all of these days).

• This position is paid as W-2 employment

Responsibilities:

• Instructing rock bands with up to 8 students, ages 10-15 years of age.

• Overseeing and participating in several live performances per year.

Job requirements include:

• Strong electric guitar skills (rhythm and lead guitar)

• Ability to play other instruments is a plus (drums, bass, keyboard, etc.)

• Good singing ability

• Strong knowledge of classic and modern rock songs.

• Ability to supervise, teach, and motivate students in the 10-15 age range.

• 100% commitment to reliable attendance.
